The tailors, born in the 70s, have become a true fulcrum of the Corsa all'Anello and vital for its success. Real art workshops where historians, costume designers, tailors, artisans, goldsmiths, hairdressers and shoemakers collaborate, assisted by expert artisans and historical consultants.

The research related to the realization of costumes, has gone through a path of historical analytical study, essentially on the pictorial documents of the territory, but also on archival evidence. The intent was to identify the dynamic of 14th Century fashion, playing on fabrics, cuts and colours, to equip the tailors who make historic clothes, the same genius that moved needle and scissors of the medieval tailor.

Each Terziere has its own tailoring and manager who is responsible for coordinating the assistants and actors. In addition to coordinating the tailoring and the creation of costumes, the managers also have precise indications from the Corsa all'Anello Association and compile accurate data sheets of clothing and accessories.

In the historical parade there is therefore a significant detail, clear historical and iconographic references and great attention to fabrics and cuts. Entering into the tailors, you can see directly all the work, dedication and effort that these people and all their collaborators spend all year for the success of the parade and to support, with various types of clothes, every part of the event (re-enactments, shows, taverns), guaranteeing as much as possible the medieval identity and therefore the image of the 14th Century Narni.

The clothes, first designed and then made, refer to specific subjects: nobles, ladies, authorities, guilds, soldiers and musicians, characterized by elements such as hairstyles, headgear, waist, weapons, bags, jewelry, socks and shoes.
